10 Year Sons First Mule Deer

Pretty proud dad right now. My 10 year old son - Tavin - was able to harvest his first big game animal this past weekend. This nice 22" 4 point was taken in the Central Idaho backcountry. He made an awesome 312 yard shot to put him down. We covered over 8 miles in 2 days of rough Idaho wilderness and sub freezing temps to get the job done!

All that hiking in the freezing cold, I'm glad it payed off or you might have soured him on hunting. Lol, now he's going to be hooked forever. Congrats, to you and him, sounds like a great shot too!
