Me & Jr Just Run 380 Miles in the Book Cliffs Today!

Glassing!

Covering as Much Ground as Possible!

Never Seen a Buck either one of us would of Shot!

But We Did see one Old Buck with a Roman Nose!

This Buck Was an Older Buck!

Bigger Body wise than any other Buck we seen by far as Well!

But SWEET GEEZUS the Quality Genetics!

Just about any Areas in the western states you can find breeding bucks like that. I'm not sure if what I always heard is that only the bigger bucks will breed. And here's one in my neighborhood that I'm not sure whether he even has the equipment or wherewithall or not, he hasn't even been inclined to scrape his antlers...and even has a shaggy summer coat! Someone commented that he was a very young stag buck. At least he was inclined to spar a little (someone commented the fight was over a spilled drink: MILK!) ;-)

I just spent 3 days on the books hunting bison. We covered A LOT of ground and I never even saw a buck I'd consider shooting on a general tag! I always wanted a deer tag on the books until I went and saw what it was really like. I'll pass on that idea now
