New Mexico unit 37 early archery Capitan Mountajn

My cousin hunted this area 14 years ago back when the tags were over the counter. Lol. We have been focused on Colorado since then but are wanting to try and get back to this unit soon. If anyone has info about what it takes to draw this now, deer numbers, etc it would be appreciated.
We specifically want to hunt capitan mountain early archery season. Thank you.

Applications are due in March. You need to front the money for your tag and hunting license with the application. New Mexico Game and Fish website would be your best source for draw odds and trends on deer numbers. With the 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice draw option in NM it isn't easy to determine exactly what your draw odds would be but you can still get an estimate. For nonresidents in 2018 the odds of drawing archery in 37 were at least 20%.
