Heading out to Vernon this weekend and wanted to know what the snow was looking like and where I can find the deer. Just wanting to go do some scouting and take some pictures. Any info helps! I don't expect to be given honey holes just want to get some tips or a general area. Thank you!

I Don't know SQUAT about Vernon!

If I Did I'd Tell you where to Pick some Bone up!

I know so many people in so many places
They make allot of money but they got sad faces

It Ain't Easy being Me!:D:D:D

Thank you! Good to know we got some good people in the hunting world haha. I will let you know how it goes and send you some pictures!

Good luck getting pictures of the bucks. They have dropped there bone so I guess let's see some pics of there stubs.

He doesn't really want to go get pics, he wants to go shed hunting out there and wants people to tell him where to go. This post should read "Where is a good spot to shed hunt on Vernon". However, he knew people would be more willing to give info if he said "Take pics" instead of "Go Shed hunting". LOL

I would have started it out only about the snow levels in the area I am targeting.. Maybe a little bit about coyote hunting, etc.. Then hope the convo (and even direct it a bit) goes towards deer.. Then go in for the kill with a more direct question of where they're at this time of year. :)

Better yet... I would have taken this approach. I'm headed out to the Vernon to whack some yotes, but I don't want to take a chance at stressing out any deer. We know winter is hard enough on them.. Can anyone tell me places to avoid so I don't accidentally run into any deer?? ??
