I drew a non-res tag ..... never hunted North Dakota and a long way from Arkansas !

Looking forward to planning the hunt and the trip - anyone have any tips / info to share on ND Muleys ?

Never personally hunted out there but I've hauled enough cattle out of there to notice some things ........ From Dickinson west to the Montana border I've seen some really nice deer. It's rocky and rugged anywhere in and around Roosevelt park on the west edge of the state and over the years I've seen a lot of nice deer pulled out of that area. I spent some years hauling for a ranch near Glen Ulin also , more open broken up country but I've seen some really really nice bucks in that area too. I guess if it were me I'd be looking hard in both areas. Some of the better deer out there are completely out in the middle of no mans land where you'd least expect them , good luck !

Lol there's plenty of "middle of nowhere" in nd. Make sure you have onx updated. The law says you can hunt it if it's not posted, also says the landowner can prosecute even if it's not posted to the letter of the law.

JUST gave you the best information.
Hunt the western side of the state close to the SD border.
