We worked our way back down the ridge and stopped above camp where we had topped out that morning. We pulled off our boots and started glassing. We looked for about an hour and didn't see anything new so we decided to drop into camp. We got boots on and all packed up and dad said "I heard a rock move, not fall but move". We called him crazy and then he heard it again. We looked below us and there was a nanny and kid. After some discussion we decided to unload and look at her through the spotter. Immediately I knew we had a shooter. We watched and took a few pics through the scope to verify her horns grew that way.
I got in position to shoot and ranged her at 450 yards. She started to move away up the ridge. When she finally stopped quartered away I held for 480 yards and sent it. She humped and went down. After watching for 15 minutes or so we packed up and headed over.
An hour later we got to her and she was better than we thought.
Not enough service to upload photos, sorry. I'll put up some from work tomorrow
