13yr Old Tanners Rocky MT Bighorn

After several scouting trips to the Lookout Mt unit in NE Oregon, my 13yr old son was able to take a B&C bighorn! I want to thank Dan-Denny & Buck Blankenship for their kindness and willingness to help us make this hunt an awesome experience for Tanner! Also Jeff Dunn from Faith in the Field for filming the entire hunt...you rock dude! It by far was the hardest hunt I'd ever been on, physically but worth every bead of sweat

Thanks for the kind words! Tanner has been coming on all my archery hunting trips since he was 5. At the age of 9 he could participate in the youth mentorship program and has harvested 2 great bucks the last few years. I couldn't be more proud

That's not even fair for a 13 year old to get a great trophy like that. Most of us wait almost a life time to get a ram. It will take a while to top that. Not much better than taking your son out on a tough hunt and getting a ram like that one.

Congrats Tanner! My 12 year old daughter drew a desert sheep tag here in New Mexico and we can't wait to go. We leave on the 30th of this month! At first she was sad that she was going to miss Halloween! She knows now that the tag is a whole lot better than Halloween! Haha. Awesome ram thanks for sharing it with us!
