Idaho Ram

Here's my ram I got last week back in the Frank Church Wilderness. He's better than I ever dreamed.

I drew the same tag 6 years ago and backpacked it with a couple buddies with no success. This time I decided to go with the outfitter to improve my odds of success. You never know if you'll ever draw a tag again.

I couldn't be more happy. Worth every penny. Just wish I had more pennies.

Well done Tim!
You made good, man.
Brother, Kurt, has kept me in the loop about your hunt.
Congratulations are in order on a very fine trophy ram.

Kilowatt, exactly the reason why I went with the outfitter this time. One only has so much luck.

Zeke, thanks. It was so cool to live many of the same experiences you described in getting ready as you were posting this summer.

I've had people ask me what am I going to do the rest of the hunting season and I tell them I don't really care, I shot a sheep. It's the most awesome feeling.

Twice in 6-years,you would never be able to do that in a state with preference points! Awesome Ram,you have a once in a life-time trophy, and unit 26 is definetly Gods country.

That's a dandy ram!

Undoubtedly an experience of a life time... which is ultimately worth whatever you had to pay.

Very Cool

LAST EDITED ON Feb-04-18 AT 10:36AM (MST)[p]Awesome ram. I am doing some research on going with an outfitter if I was lucky enough to draw.
Was that the regular or late hunt in 26?

It was the earlier hunt. Can't say enough good things about the outfitter and guide. You draw it, they'll find you one.
