Colorado paper application

This is the last year of mandatory paper application for NR, thank gd.

I didn't receive my brochure, and the deadline is next week. I know that a few years ago CPW were putting an application form on the website couple of days before the deadline.

Are they still doing that? I need an application form for Goat and Sheep...

I forgot paper apps were required with CO as this is the first year I'm getting started with them. If anyone knows where to find a link to a printable one or has one they can send me as well I would greatly appreciate it.

BTW, are they going to charge a non refundable credit fee or raise the application fee next year for nonresidentis to use the card? Charge fees on over $2k applications that over 99% refunded are significant

You say that now until every Eastman's subscriber that's too lazy to bird dog it now piles in the draw and torpedoes the odds even further......

We have 4 years. This one and the next 3, before we see an increase in the number of applicants because of the convenience of the online process.

I also assume that just because it takes 3 years before you have chance to draw, we might not see a huge wave of new people. They will know that they are so far behind that it may prevent some to apply. Hopefully...

Colorado sheep is a NEVER in a life time tag for most of us..look at the applicat #s..I'm at 34 years as a resident. I hunted 2015 with a tag holder who wasn't even born when I put in my 10th application...the weighted draw is pretty much a random draw...most people who applied in 2017 with or without points will never draw. The tag numbers just are not there.

I am waiting on a cow to calve before I feed. I spent 30 minutes on the 2016 harvest so the #'s
In 2016 there were 207 NR with max weighted points...1 drew.
3419 total NR apps 23 drew. 273 new guys started with 0. about 200 new NR start every year....

Res 307 with max weighted 14 drew..
11672 total Res apps 240 drew.. 1436 new applicants or guys starting over in 2016..

Colorado Big horn is a very low percentage draw guys..Paper apps verse online wont really matter. The vast majority of folks who apply in 2017 and every year there after WILL NEVER DRAW..But between 250 and 300 of us WILL! I applied February 9th...again...
