Whatever NVBighorn suggested, I'd take that info as gospel. He seems to have his finger on the pulse of Nevada sheep.
I have only helped with a hunt near 207, but so I'm less qualified than many.
My comment is about the Nevada unit averages. I think those statistics are skewed low, due to first time sheep hunters drawing tags and shooting the first decent ram they see. Those same stats show that NR hunters almost always take bigger rams than the average. I think NRs are more likely to feel that this is their only chance to kill a ram, so they generally put in more time and effort or hire a guide.
Hunting hard and long and laying off the trigger always improves your odds at taking a 160 + ram. That's true in any unit or hunting any animal. If it were my tag, I'd spend as much time as I could and look for one that's bigger and older than average.
