Got up on top of Lone Peak the other day and found a few goats. Might be a tough place to hunt. So much vertical feet to get to them. But, if that's the best place I find, then that's where I'll go.
I think it'll be fun stalking these things with a bow in hand. I love the country where they like to be.

Brian,
I don't know if the boundaries have changed since I had my tag. Check North of Alta between big/little cottonwood. There are some slammer goats there and you can't find them without hiking into that area.

Brian call me I can help with some information on your hunt and possible save some miles on your legs. I am no goat expert but I got luck in a different unit in 2014 and kill the #3 in Utah. My story is in the last Utah Big Game Record Book. The area I have for you to check has had goats close to 50 inches killed in the past. Its worth checking out.
