A year ago today

Just reliving the memories from 1 year ago today in the NWT. The memories of my First ram in the most beautiful country God created are thought about daily. Little sad thinking about how great my experience was and how far I possibly am from doing it again. For all of you going on a sheep hunt this year relax and enjoy every second of it because they are truly memories of a lifetime. And please share your stories and pictures. That's what keeps me sane while I'm on the long process of saving for my next sheep hunt.

It's funny how I remember the date of every sheep I have taken. It's kinda like my time clock rebooted and so did my hunting priorities. I can't say that about any of the other trophies on my walls.

Gadjet, I went with South Nahanni Outfitters. A+ from top to bottom. Can?t wait to hunt with them again. If I were you I would do the hunt as soon as you can. I booked my hunt in2015 for a 2017 Hunt and today the hunt is $8,000 more than what I paid. By the time I have enough saved up to go again who knows what it will be. But I will go again. Ha

My 1st Ram, 41 years ago yesterday...remember it well, well maybe only the good parts LOL.

Don't know how i succeeded:

No camo, no long range shooting system, no goretex, no rangefinder.

Wore blue levis, chamios shirt, heavy wool jkt. $200< rifle, fixed 4X scope, 8 power/no name binocs.
