We had a lot of history with this buck.. we had some close calls in archery season but something always seemed to be on this goats side... then we decided we would just get him with a gun, New his whereabouts and would have been a slam dunk, However the day before the season opens we had a death in the family and off to Kansas we went, missing the opening week of season.. although we were disappointed we New where we had to be... so we just hoped he would survive and low and behold we hunted where he had been and there were lots of tire tracks and it seemed as though he had probably already been killed...
We decided to head back into an area west of where he had been looking as there wasn?t many goats, and low and behold we popped over a ridge and there he stood... one shot from the trusty 6.5 creedmoore and the goat was hers..
