Took pictures of a group of rams out there this last summer , one of those rams was huge. Maybe even that one , nice job !

This is the badlands herd, been there for years, but just started hunting them outside the park

These sheep move in and out of the Badlands Nat'l Park. This was the first year they opened this area up for hunting them. He was the lucky guy to draw the lone available tag. I was happy that they opened up that area and also put in with max sheep points (18) along with 620 other applicants. He drew with 16 points. With the publicity of this ram there will likely be 1000 - 1500 applicants next year as some guys will switch over from the other open unit.

I'm glad he did it with his bow.
