shotgun coyote loads

I've killed 'em with high brass 4 shot. Just wondering if there's something alittle more deadly?

I got a ton of 3 1/2" T shot for geese, but will the steel take down a coyote?

I've used T loads steel before. Needless to say it didn't kill worth a damn. Tried heavy shot I don't have much faith in it beyond 30 yards. Winchester 3 1/2 mags in no. 4 buckshot is the best I've used killed one coyote 60 yards with it. The best load I've used by far but it does kick like hell.

You don't really feel it kick when the adrenalines pumping. Lol. Not sure what ya mean by 45. You might have me confused with another person. I'm in southern Utah. Anyhow good luck too ya.

I have been too lazy to pattern the heavy shot and the winchester #4 buck, but I do really like the #4 buck and its a ton cheaper. I am not very good with the shotgun from sitting on my rear...so I don't blame the loads, but I have had to shoot a few coyotes several time with the heavy shot....that can turn into a 15-20 dollar coyote real fast...ouch!...I think I am sticking with my #4 buck from winchester. Both have 54 pellets so I assume the pellets weigh about the same. It really just depends on which one patterns tighter. (I am talking about the 3.5 inch)

My remington factory turkey choke patterns that #4 buck well. (I put 5 pellets into a turkey at 90 yards)

What amount of constriction do you guys think works the best for this type of stuff? I really want to pattern both loads with a bunch of chokes, but man its tough to get up the nerve to do that.

The dead coyotes work incredible for me. We consistently kill out past 60 yards on dogs and the pelt damage when you get a cat in is unmatched. They are expensive but totally worth it. I shoot the 3 1/2".

Have you tried Hypersonic steel shot?I live in Idaho in unit 45 and we have been doing good with coyotes lately
