Been exercising the pack about every other day and they are tough as nails and ready for a track. My old blue dog Griz is back in the pack after laying him up for nearly a month. He'd turned an ankle on his right front leg in the slide rock on the last boar we ran down for a hunter, darn thing blew up and he wouldn't stand on it for about three weeks. However, the swelling has gone down now and I brought him back into the pack slowly with a little road work, first a mile or two and now eight or ten as he seems solid. I was afraid he might be done but those old hounds are tough.......

Geez Ike, I always thought your dogs were good, but damn, trailing a cat on water? That's impressive.

Been accused of walking on water before.......but the truth is now out that my dogs sink just like the rest!

Thanks. A guy sure hates to loose an eight year old veteran to an injury, sure glad he came back strong as well.

Great looking pack! I almost feel sorry for the poor bear that has thoses dogs on his trail. Notice I said ALMOST.:)

We used to have dogs like that in California. The good 'ol days are gone forever.

And sorry to have had to watch that deal go down on the California bear hunt after watching the mountain lion deal go south back in the late eighties. Some people say that we are a dying breed, the good thing is it'll never happen in Utah before my days are done.....

Sweet pics! I need a hound that can tree a lion by itself. Can anyone get me pointed in the right direction? Thanks! 307 349 8551
