Outfitter for Fillmore Pahvant unit

I just received notification that I drew the Fillmore-Pahvant Cougar unit. I have never been cougar hunting before (just been getting points

I will hire an outfitter. Any recommendations of outfitters for that unit would be very much appreciated.

Also, an information on the unit (i.e. good unit, lots of toms, etc) would be great to know.

Good luck on the hunt. Years ago, when I was teaching in Monroe, I had two middle school boys that spent the night up above Joseph, in their parent's cabin. They went for a hike and had a cougar harass them. It came after them very up close and personal, within several yards. They kept yelling and throwing sticks and rocks, and backing up all the way back to the cabin. That thing was coming in low and ready. It would scream at them, and try again. They were a couple of very scared young men. I have no doubt that if there had only been one of them there, things would have turn out differently.
