Utah Lion hunt

LAST EDITED ON Oct-30-12 AT 09:41AM (MST)[p]You would think 11 points would get you any tag you wanted for a lion. Looking at the odds if I am real unlucky it could take 3 more years before I draw. It's to bad the quality won't match the amount of bonus points I have. I would like to hunt in my back yard so I guess I am in for the long haul. I will have to look into it. So who has more points?

I have zero lion points but they sell me a harvest objective tag every year.....

Sad to say but I have 13 points and I even skipped a few years since I started getting points. I have just been buying points.

Elkn,

There are 15 HO units and 26 split units located throughout the state. The HO tags are sold over the counter, after a 7 day waiting period you can hunt any HO unit as long as the quota has not been reached.

You have to draw a tag for the split units, but they open to a HO unit after March,4th.
