Anyone want to run their dogs on the Beaver Unit.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-05-12 AT 08:21AM (MST)[p]I have a Beaver Unit Cougar Tag, and it looks like my two resources have had problems with the economy and had to sale their dogs.
In past years they have had pursue permits but no tags. This year I have a Tag and no pursuit. Can?t afford an outfitter but not looking for a free ride either.
Just thought I would post this to see if anyone had any time or interest on getting rid of a deer killer off that unit. If not I will turn the tag back in to the DWR.
Thanks for your time.

I guess I am missing something, did I say something wrong.?
I was just referring that my plans had drastically changed and was checking for options.
I don't mean to ruffle anyone's feathers.
If so please disregard this post.

I will sum up a lengthty one that happened in the spring. Someone can help you out, but you can't buy anything for them. Not the gas, not a hotel stay, nothing. It is illegal to guide without the proper permits, and in Utah that means accepting anything more the $100, or the equivelent of $100, you are guiding without an outfitters license.

So what you are asking someone to do is fine. But in offering "not looking for a free ride" you are potentially asking someone to break the law.

No man your good just a few of the guys that run hounds and are on this site get their panties in a bunch when someone has anything to say about running dogs.

Just go through and read any post that has to do with lions or bears and you will see.

O.K. got it, thank you for your input.
Did not look at it that way.
I have known dog guys, hunted with them, road with them, bleed with them, and they are good people, ?the salt of the earth type?.
Because of the time it takes to get a tag, age, and physical ordeals from past injuries this is and will be the only Cougar tag I will ever have, so when my plans fell through someone suggested to put out a post.
The last thing I what is to, or have someone break the law, I will not proceed with this.
Thanks for all your help?
