Not really a bobcat hunter but here are a couple I ran down a few years ago, both went 29 to 30 pounds. I heard talk about 35 to 40 pounders but I have never been that lucky...

A big tom bobcat here in northern Utah is generally going to weigh a little over 30 lbs. Here is a picture of an average mature tom that we caught with our hounds that would fall into that catagory:

Occaisionally however, you run into a mega cat. The cat below is probably the biggest bobcat I've ever caught. He weighed an honest 43 lbs and after we skinned him, I hung him from a nail and he measured 51 inches from his nose to the tip of his tail. He bottomed out a standard coyote/bobcat sized fur stretcher so I had to make a special one out of plywood just for him. Since then, I've only had to use that stretcher on one other cat.

so what call do you guys like to use on the foxpro the reason i ask is i have a peace of property where a bobcat has been eating my friends chickens and even a goat, we went up and tried last weekend and we called in some dogs but no cats.

I have had luck with with the wailing woodpecker and lightning jack on the foxpro. But if they like eating chickens and goat try some of those sounds. I got them on my foxpro but have not tried them.

Spotted this bobcat last week and was able to stalk in close enough for a shot. One arrow later, he was mine.

The more pics I see of these, the more I want one!

We just don't have many where I live. I'd love to call one in!

Here is the biggest one we have caught this year. Measured out to 43".

This one is hard to see but it's one we caught today. Stretched to 43" also. One of the oldest cats I have seen. Had scars and missing and broken teeth. Also the meanest thing I have ever seen. Thought he was gonna break out of the cage.
