Montana Bear Experts

I am interested in a DIY spring bear hunt in Montana. I have narrowed my hunting location to either 105 or 106. What do you think abou the Tally Lake area in the Salish Mountains? Are there good number of bears there? Will I be dealing with crowds of people in this area? If this is not a good area does anyone have and suggestions for other areas. I would really appreciate any info. I will be traveling from Kansas so I will not be able to scout before hand. I thank you in advance.

I've never hunted up there but you are going to the two units w the highest annual avg harvest. Good luck on your hunt and let us know how you do. What week will you be hunting?
