Looks like it crawled into a den alittle to small this past winter. Either that or it thinks it is the biggest and baddest bear on the mountian and keeps getting his butt kicked.

I'd have to pass on shooting that one, unless I was just feeling sorry for it.

Ive never seen a bear that looks that bad!!!
It dont matter if its a boar or sow, that poor bear looks like crap.

Sure isnt the best looking bear. I think it is a sow but can't be sure yet. May have to put a tag on it to find out.

I dont know about puttin a tag on that bear. Im not sure I would want to even toutch him. You might catch a disease or somethin...!!!! hahahahhahah

Looks to me like a young bear that got into to small a hole for their den. On POW in Alaska that is what most of the young bears looked like in the spring. They wait too long into the late fall trying to bulk up on some last minute berries and stuff. By the time they go looking for a den the best ones are taken up by the big guys and the pregnant mamas. Kind of like having to sleep in the bathtub at the cabin cause all the real beds and couch are already taken.

By fall his hair will be back in.
