Bear hunt Idaho 22

I should be heading to the forest to chase the mighty bull elk, but the lure of my Unit 22 Bear tag is too distracting for me to ignore. I will be heading up this weekend with the family. I hope to return with some nice stories, pictures, and a big bear's hide!

Good luck to you guys. The biggest bear I have ever seen was in unit 22. Looking forward to hearing about your adventure.

I'm checking your post everyday to see a picture of that big bear your going to get. No doubt in my mind you'll get him.

I'm not one for telling my grandson how big of turd I had to pinch off from having to eat so much meat. I want to give him the antlers that hang from my wall and tell him the unforgettable experience that came with each and every one.

Hey Mickey...

If your measuring my success to your bear, I will no doubt lose!

We saw 11 bears. Two were shooters, but I ran out of light on one and lost the other during a stalk. It was an awesome weekend with the family! We watched a sow and two cubs destroy a berry bush 10 yards from the road...that was cool!

I'll be going back.
