My dad this year drew a book cliffs spring tag and I was just wondering if you guys who have taken bears on the books would post some pictures and tell us how big they are?

If you're wanting to see some Book Cliffs bears, check out our website. www.huntwithgtoutfitters.com

The bears in kill pictures were all mature boars. There's also some big boars that we've caught and are still out there. How does your dad plan to hunt? Is his tag for the Book Cliffs Bitter Creek Unit, or the Little Creek/Spot and Stalk unit?

Thanks for those awesome pictures! We are hunting the bitter-creek south side over bait, but have some friends who have dogs who will help us out if we need it!

You should be able to kill a 19" boar easy enough. The trick will be placing your bait where the hounds won't rig off it.

Pretty well everywhere on top of the books you will have hunters. The new road in from Vernal along with the season dates that force everybody into hunting hard the last few weeks makes it very crowded out there. I don't know how much time you have spent out there or if you know where you intend to hunt. But if you would like some locations on places to hunt, that will get you away from other hunters but still have high bear numbers, pm me. I baited bears for 4 years in Canada so I'm always noticing places I would set up a bait if I were to try baiting the books.

Did you guys buy a Molly mule from Jimmy and Sharon Hall, From Apple Valley some years back. I believe she was called Pumpkin.
You have one that looks like her in your string. Just wondering.
Great website.
