After posting the shooter or not thread, i have have passed over 13 different bears looking for a big one, i decided to set on the stand tonight and do a syrup burn! In less than 30 minutes here comes this guy walking down the trail, i have missed so much with my b9ow over the years, i had no confidence! He comes in and i ask my dad if he is ready, he says yes and i heart shoot the thing! It runs about 10 feet stands thera and just tips over dead!! Not the biggest in the woods, but he has a huge head on him!! Weight was 235 and is about 5 1/2 feet! My irst ever bowkill, other than jackrabbits! This is my second bear in 2 years! The picture i am standing by the bait, and you can see the trail cam and the bear! What a great day!!!! Thanks for looking. Xtreme!

I'm 61 and killed a trophy moose with the bow last year but there's no way I could recount all the great bow hunts over the years. It's been a good ride.
Wow 4.5 decades of bow hunting has flown by in a hurry.
