Just a bear. Notice how big the ears look in picture 1 and doesn't seem to have the big boar front shoulders. Not a cub, but no monster.

Very cool. I have a tag for North Slope/Daggett. Hired a houndsman to help me out. I'm excited, first bear hunt.

He looks like a good 6-footer to me. Probably won't make the book, but a shooter for most.

I watched him for over 30 minutes. He was harassing a big herd of elk. They are just outside the frame, never more than 100 yards.

I think it is a very nice bear, maybe not a gagger, but I'd shoot that.

A mature bear but not what I would call a big bear. His legs look too long and his ears too big. I would guess 200-250 lbs.
