Called a few in the other day...

Had to shoot this one @300 yards due to her circling down wind and the terrain.

This one came in with 6 others. Ive never called that many in at one time. It was crazy! Shot him with the .338 Lapua @60ish yards. 300 grain Accubond
Never got a shot at the other six.

That a really good day of calling. What is the fur selling for in your neck of the woods.

Like yotes always do, the big group came in from behind me. I set up with the Lapua cuz I was setup in a huge valley. They were on top of me before I knew it.
I'm not skinning or selling any of the dogs. They stink too damn much. Plus the lapua isn't delicate on hides. ?
I love the My browning. I haven't worked up a good load yet. Too many factory rounds to get thru first. But it shoots 55 V-max really well.

That's a fine day! Well done HC.
I just shot one a couple days ago in Nebraska with my 300 Ultra mag with 200 gr Accubonds. Seems like a great yote rifle for those mangy buggers!

HC,
The coyote was running straight away and went over a dirt mound and out of sight at about 175 yards. When he came back out, I could only see the top of his back and head.
The bullet raked up his back and through his head, where it did a "beautiful" amount of damage (not suitable for framing. haha)
Any rifle I have in my hands is a coyote rifle!
Keep up the good work,
Zeke

Sometimes you just gotta use a big hammer. I waxed a pair of yotes with a 338 Ultramag one time. It definitely wasn't fur friendly either!
