Hey guys and gals. I am potentially coming out this fall with two friends to hunt. I have found some information on units 60 and 61 about a black bear hunt. I got the dates and prices but am looking for some more information. We are staying a few miles from the west entrance to Yellowstone and it seems those units are closest. We are planning on a DIY hunt unless we can find a reasonable guide. Would either of these units be worth the trip for a DIY hunt? If not, could you recommend anything else? We have the option of staying in a friend's cabin there or heading to Winter Park, CO. We are just wanting to weigh out our options and see what might give us the best chance at a DIY hunt.
