I am still new to hunting but enjoying it so far. One of my life goals is to be able to hunt a mountain lion and I am currently in Southern Nevada.
What are some of the signs of a potential mountain lion habitat that I should look out for?
I am spending a lot of time scouting different areas for rabbit and coyote hunting so I thought that I should also keep an eye out for potential mountain lion areas. Do they like rocky terrain? High/low elevations? Are lions likely to come down to desert water guzzlers or do they mostly stay away from those?
I appreciate any and all tips on scouting since I'm still new & learning.
