Spot and Stalk with my Sons

I wanted to share some pictures from our spot and stalk bear hunt this spring. We hiked into the backcountry and my son spotted this bear at around 300yards away. One shot from my 300 ultra mag pushing a 180 grain ballistic tip dropped this bear. This was easily one of the most awesome memories that I have and I am grateful that I had a chance to share this experience with my older boys.

Thanks for all the nice compliments. I rough scored his skull and it looks like he is currently over 20 inches but we will see what happens when it is all dried up. I am going to try fall spot and stalk with my sons because there is no way I am going to have time to run baits this fall. I will keep everyone posted if we have any success.
