greetings. I frequent the other forms but a first here. I am a bronze sculptor and working on a small Coyote piece. The Coyote is in a hard straight up howl. I am think about having a rabbit laying at his feet and calling the piece "Dinner bell' Would it be natural behavior for a Coyote to kill and then call in the kids or whatever????? or do they stay quiet as not to bring in other hungry bellies.

Thanks.....Ted

Yessir, coyotes will howl after a kill. They howl for many reasons. But, if a denning pair make a kill they can and at times will howl to call their pups to eat. Coyotes can be very social animals, and can invite howl just to have another coyote to hang out with.

good luck on the sculpture.

Yep they call in the rest of the pack to share.
