I'm a beginner in the yote hunting. I want to use some decoys during it. Of course, I understand that very much depend on a place where you will hunt. You can use feathers too and let the wind move them.
Or tie a string to them and pull the string to make it move.
My nephew use a full body coyote decoy and he love it.

Personally I only use a decoy in the fall. Its a Mojo critter. Over the years though, it goes out on stand less and less. I find it useful for first year pups, but smarter older coyotes, I have noticed freeze when they see it, and are reluctant to come in. Just my personal experience. During breeding season, I also use a coyote body mold decoy from time to time.
