Sept 4th 2018 sitting in my stand in AM. Heard a small ruckus coming my way, then I could hear very heavy breathing, I waited at the ready, a big bear came running towards my tree stand. I was able to stop the bear with multiple mouth noises at 10 yards. I drew my bow, left the arrow and shot just over his back. I was very disappointed seeing the bruins backside running off but quickly knocked another arrow. Then maybe 5-10 seconds latter I heard the noise again coming from the same direction. I was still pumped, looking in the same direction here comes another bear ahttp://www.monstermuleys.info/photos/user_photos_2019/14484img1567.jpglong the identical path running. I made one loud weeeeee! noise from my mouth and the bear stopped in the same spot as the first. I drew my bow and was sure of the shot this time, I hit him in the right side high coming down on him. He went about 100 yards and I found him, appearing that he died on the run. Fantastic feeling with a recurve bow.
