It is crazy to see how little knowledge some of them have regarding CPW work, data and policies. One would think a commissioner would spend some time doing homework. Hell, one commissioner thought the mule deer rut is in September.

It appears I drew a Fishlake Mid Rifle tag at 13 points. Im excited but it will be interesting to see how crowded the hunt gets.

Agreed, maybe a slight uptick in odds at best in 2023. I figure the odds go back to where they were before or worse if the bull quality significantly increases as desired due to lower harvest rates. Especially in popular southern muzzy only units, which will be challenging hunts with open sights.

There will be far less pressure during the December MZ season.

I would definitely go the private route. To put it in perspective, I live in Omaha and drive many miles past the Sandhills. It is cool country though.
