    Daughters and Hunting

Those of you with daughters - can you share your story on how you got them into hunting? Tips and tricks to get them started? Mine are 4 and 7, love camping/backpacking, and I've been taking them squirrel hunting and whitetail hunting at my parent's "deer farm" in Alabama to get them used to it...

Which buck would you be hunting?

Same buck but August 1 vs. September 1?

    Unit 444/44

I am planning on getting boots on the ground in August this year in advance of a muzzy mule deer hunt. From the pictures, it doesn't look like there is much feed up on the red scree...good cover and water - but like you said - no food. I'm still planning to spend 1 day glassing it just to see...

    Unit 76 colorado

076 is definitely huntable without horses. I’ve hunted 77, 78, and 76, IMO 76 is way easier terrain than units to the south.

    New to the game.....

Hunting bugling bulls with archery equipment is the best life has to offer. Aaron S makes a good point - you might either hire an outfitter or at least do a self-guided drop camp (cheaper) in an OTC or leftover unit prior to burning your points so you can get some experience and be ready for...

    New to Muzzy

Hey folks! Long time lurker and decided to join. I look forward to contributing and joining the community. Have 10 years of archery elk and muley experience in CO, and decided to put in for a muzzy deer tag this year in CO and plan to hunt high wilderness. I hunted whitetail with a tradition...
