Wolves killed 4 more this week…

Were all of the wolves released fitted with tracking devices? looks like it would be very easy to tell if they killed something at a certain location at a certain time.

    Drawing results

Drew 15 muzzleloader deer. I know they are scarce but I saw a few big ones 2 years ago on an elk hunt there.

need help getting clear pics with a spotter

Am using a Swarovski 20x60 straight spotter with a Magview adapter and an Iphone 15. I got some pretty good pics of turkeys at 400 yards yesterday, but the turkeys head is a little grainy. Using the focus ring on the spotter doesnt really help that much other than telling me I am way out of...

LAZY F BAR OUTFITTERS: Colorado Unit 66

Just because one of the popular hunting consultants refers you to an outfitter does not mean you are going to have a good hunt. My only guided hunt was a referral from one of the "consultants" and was a trainwreck and I only killed on last day of hunt due to s---house luck. Was a muzzy hunt and...

Have you seen a list of the current NR point holders for elk in WY? there are currently 138,430 people with 1-5 points and 43,385 people with 6-18 points according to the chart I am looking at. If I wasnt already in the WY points game, I dont think I would start now

    Question about Pagosa Springs area

A friend of mine just bought a condo in Pagosa Springs and I was wondering if there are any turkeys in the general area. If so, I will buy a turkey license instead of a small game license as required to participate in the points purchasing game soon and make a trip there to turkey hunt this...

    Matthews Lift

My son is an archery nut and he just chose between the Lift and the Bowtech SR350. Said he liked every aspect of the Lift except the grip. Took his sight off the RPM 360 he sold and put it on the SR350 and didnt even have to put a new sight tape on it, distances matched perfectly.

    Game Cameras- AA battery problems

I have been running 7-8 game cameras for years and for some reason I am now having problems with AA batteries not lasting but a few days before dying. Have always bought Energizer off Ebay in the 100 or 144 packs and had good luck until this fall. When tested on a voltmeter the new batteries...

    Gunnison Recommendations

I hunted 67 4th season in 2019 and stayed in a motel on west side of Gunnison. Was a 35-40 minute ride to get to hunting spot every morning. Temps were 9 -10 before daylight and rose to 30 or so during the day. However, 9-10 with no humidity is a walk in the park compared to 9-10 in Mississippi...

Petition to keep OTC elk tags for residents only

ColoradoBoy, that wont stop applicants. i have a friend that applies for several credit cards each year with no fees and interest for 90 days. Uses the cards to charge about $30,000 worth of tag and application fees. When he receives refunds he pays credit cards off and still got a lot of...
