Congrats on an great bull, such an awesome place to hunt. I also saw some stud muleys chasing does in that area last year, makes the experience that much better. Now if I could just draw a late season buck tag.

I was only in there 4-8 Nov, no snow while I was there. It was pretty cold in the mornings (20-30 degrees) and warmed up during the daytime to maybe high 50's. I was not in the wilderness area, imagine it would have been pretty uncomfortable on the top without a pack line to carry a full camp...

Hello, I was lucky enough to draw a mid season bull tag for the Table Mountains this year. I wont be scouting until mid October due to prior engagements for the next 4-5 months, so I had a few general questions to get me started. Do most hunters without horses camp in or outside the wilderness...

Thanks for the info, we were up there this weekend. We did see a few cows and bulls around the fields, but did not have any success. We are trying to head back up for the last weekend of the season, thinking about hunting the trails that lead to the fields and water tank on the Pearson ranch.

Thanks for the tip, I was planning on using the atv trail into the wilderness area and see if we can get lucky in there.

Thanks for the help and tips, my son ended up tagging a doe. We had some great stalks on a few smaller bucks but just couldn't get in the right position for him to get a good shot. Look forward to next year, hopefully with more mule deer tags! Sean
