I drew an archery deer this year for 181-184. I'm seriously considering hiring an outfitter for the first time in my life because I won't be able to scout at all this year. Can anyone give me some suggestions on good outfitters? Also what can I expect on this hunt as far as deer, weather...

I would check out deer crossing arrows at www.deercrossingarchery.com good arrows at a good price. I know my 12 year old would never notice an arrow that was spined a little to stiff. I would go with at least a 125 grain head to get the weight you want with the added benefit of a better foc.

I have a Pentax WG-1 that is tough. I've hunted with it the last 2 years with no problems. I dropped it in 20' of water at lake Powell and it stayed on the bottom for about an hour until I was able to retrieve it. Still works perfect. Takes good pictures (14 mega pixel) and good video.

I was wondering the same thing. Was thinking of ordering a flatline map. Does anybody know anything about them?

I just bought a tree limb quiver with the hard arrow gripper and it holds my Injections nice and snug. I did try it on standard diameter arrows and it works well with them also. I would also look at the tight spot quiver, it has an adjustale arrow gripper.

Both boys were able to harvest their first big game animals. Thanks for all the advice from everyone. It was very exciting for them and they haven't stopped talking about it and reliving every single detail. It was a blast for all of us.
