I have been on the Boulder two more times looking and scouting for elk. I see elk and good bulls, just not what I have seen in previous years and what I expect. I know the Boulder is tough and the elk move, but it has a different feel. I wonder if they have been giving too many tags?

I have hunted the unit for elk for the last 10 years and I know what it has been and what it looks like now. Something is different. I hope you are right, however. Anybody else been on the Boulder this year?

I've been down on the Boulder scouting this year and haven't been able to find the number or size of bulls that I have seen in the past. Have any of you had a similar experience?
