I've been researching Swarovski and saw one guy mention that he bought an old Swaro spotting scope and when he sent it in for repairs they upgraded him to the latest fluoride HD lenses. It seems to me that the newer lenses would only fit the latest spotting scopes so maybe he was mistaken. Can...

Here in Denver we have one of the major canvas wall tent manufacturers (it's cool to go out on the floor and see them work) and even they say that the Alaknaks are good tents. One guy I know that now has the Alaknak, but hunted out of/owned a wall tent for 20 years says he likes the wall tent...

No luck for me either. I only had 8 weighted points though.

The back door for Elk should appear this week. I didn't have enough points for the early hunt so put in for 61 2nd season. Crossing my fingers.

Heck yeah. Beautiful animal. For me it doesn't matter if it's 170, 180, or 200. If I like the size and shape I will take it. I would rather have a beautiful set of antlers, than one that scores higher but doesn't look as nice. Now, about those coordinates.... :)
