Trying to figure out when the next nonresident hunter safety class is and where it it will be located. As a nonresident I was hoping to get an additional point before the draw for 2019. Any help or direction appreciated.
I had the tag last year I can help save you a lot of time. I shot a small 6 point on day 8 of the hunt friend of mind killed a massive 5x6. I saw two bills in the 350 plus range but couldn't get within range of them. I will look at my maps and tell you all of the spots I saw Bulls. It can be...
Good luck they were screaming their heads off the night before the rifle opener. It was pretty cool to see some nice bulls on our scouting trip. Heard a few shots opening day and a handful on sunday.
LAST EDITED ON Jul-13-15 AT 12:48PM (MST)[p]Had the tag in 2012 it is big steep country. We had horses and mules plus hunted on foot for 7 days saw 3 bucks first part of the season. Came back later in October and hunted 5 days got a long shot at a 170 buck and missed he was the only buck I took...
Nice to see some pictures of the bulls in that country. We drew the late rifle tag this year as a party should be a good hunt. Coming from Oregon next month for a scouting trip to figure out roads and such.
Wow surprised on the bear tag prices being reduced for nonresidents. I do like to hear about premium hunts being considered. I also would like to see more nonresident tags allotted separate from the guide tags. Hopefully they listen to scoutdogs ideas he has some good ones.
As a nonresident who has been buying points for seven years it does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling. But I would take the 10% nonresident cap if wyoming would drop the nonresidents hunting in the wilderness rule.Apparently we are not capable of hunting the wilderness in wyoming but can in every...
I heard pine creek. I have seen more big bucks killed this year than ever before/ Friends kill a 210 in a easy to draw unit. I think they started pre rut early then snow pushed them out. Lots of them had necks that were swelled up.
Ran into them this last weekend in the north fork of the imnaha. People we were hunting with had the wolves flanking them on their horses all of the way back to camp. The wolves were doing the same thing as the video. They showed no fear of people or the horses. Packed up and left elk were...
