    Wasatch thoughts

If the information Berryblaster supplied is correct, the age class is still 5.5 over the last 3-years on average, then the unit is still within the age class that is supposed to be managed for. Straight off the DWR website: Many of our limited-entry and once-in-a-lifetime big game species...

In case you didn’t see this

There are some good things about the bill, but why do we have to have almost 16,000 acres of public land get sold off? There is already plenty of private land to the south of I-80 in that area. Why not let those private lands get developed before we sell off the public lands?

In case you didn’t see this

That one pager says that 15,860 acres of public land to be sold at fair market value. Of those acres being sold, many of them are in mule deer winter range and antelope range. Look at the areas to the East of the Pah Rah's along the north boundary of I-80 corridor. Lots of deer and antelope...

    No Delisting

Interesting that the hunting economy and the world renowned hunt expo are higher on their priority list than ranchers. Oh and don't forget it's about the pets too! Here's an excerpt from the request: What is this project or program intended to accomplish? Keep wolves out of UT, until the...

    Another Problem

I haven’t had a steak yet, but I have eaten horse in salami and sausage in other countries. And it’s excellent table fare! I would have no problem putting one in the freezer every year to feed the family.

    FCFS Late Archery

With the lack of snow there just weren’t the numbers of deer concentrated at lower elevations I was hoping for. It was still a super fun hunt and I saw bucks every day I went out. But only a couple of them were decent bucks. I ended up not being able to pass up an easy shot on this guy just...
