Interesting that GPO released 40mm Rangeguides. Their 50mm's were already more compact than their competitors 42mm's.

I have GPO Rangeguides and they're fantastic (sold my Leica 3200.coms when the 8x32 GPO hit the market). The Sig Kilo6k gets good reviews too.

I used to waste a lot of time driving around looking for the perfect stand (elevation , wind, line of sight, cover, hiding the truck, etc.). Started calling the thickest sagebrush I could find and my numbers went up. Pack a small stool to get you up off the ground. Use an ATV or side by side...

Too bad the ole wall tent(s) can't talk. A lot of good memories over the years.....Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado.

My experience is, people shoot first and count points last. Not enough points, musta missed, and walk away. If units are in such bad shape to consider point restrictions, they should be closed entirely.

Not my experience . The majority of confirmed lion kills I've come across were good bucks. Big bucks are solitary and easier for a lion to hunt and kill than a herd of does and fawns.
