Sounds like there are some great bucks still to be had. It's a super tough tag to draw so this will more than likely be my last time hunting it. We will go and have a good time. I'm excited for the weather and hopefully some of the bucks will start feeling rutty. Good luck to you all.

Like stated above. The rut is usually early in 40. I would say the 5-7th is typically the heaviest rut activity but you will see it through out November. 40 has gone down hill but you will see lots of bucks and the occasional monster. Just depends on how hard you work for it and how lucky...

If you've played the game long enough you will see anything happen with any broadhead you shoot. From my personal experience I absolutely love the 4 blade Magnus Stinger and buzzcuts. Best flying and easiest sharpening heads around for me. Plus lifetime warranty is a bonus. IB
