I was just told that you'd get maybe 1000 rounds out of a 6.5x284 and then groups would start opening up drastically but that was just what I was told or read and the 7mm calibers can shoot a heavier bullet with higher B.C. I mean the 6.5 s can go heavier but you gotta get some weird bullets and...
Well I guess it's not so much the rifle I am asking about it's more of a caliber options and the Creedmoors every one has got one I'd like to be different I suppose
So 280ai vs 6.5x284 it's also gonna be a long range pinking gun and a little bit for deer and antelope not so much for elk I gotta 300 Winnie for that ......good info guys
>Just recently bought a 7mm. Love
>it!! I would recommend a
>muzzle brake as well. Buy

I was thinking about that on a savage LRH and it has a adjustable muzzle break I have a 300 win mag that has a muzzle break and it recoils like a 270 maybe a...

Again barrel burner?? So I have heard no personal experience I could get a savage and do barrelseaps on the cheap but it's still throwing 300$ at a new barrel I would like one I just don't wanna replace...

Just reload lol
I also heard the Nosler where kind of barrel burners but that also might be hearsay...... enlighten me
So I got the green light to buy a new rifle and I'm not sure what caliber I want a long range (1000 yards max) target rifle but also a hunting rig like it to be lower recoil but still able to reach out light enough to pack heavy enough to target shoot I know it's a lot to ask out of one rifle I...
Yes they do I have had good luck with Boyd?s gunstocks but I would piller bed it and glass bed maybe ??? I have never glass bedded anything so it would be a good learning thing and what would you guys think about like a cerikoat or something
The reason for considering a re barrel is caliber I want a 280 ai but I think I will shoot this one out before a re barrel and it will probably be passed down and the double triggers are not efficient but they add to the cool factor any recommendations on stock wood synthetic brands??
It's cool if I throw a new stock on it I suppose the double triggers are just okay and it is fun to shoot I'll prolly keep it and make it shootable and use it for a back up
My local gun smith charged about 600$ for a rebarrel I'm not sure it would be worth it unless it was an unusual caliber like 280 ai or something that is a good caliber while still being odd I hand load so the sky is the limit as far as calibers go I would like a 280ai but I found this one shoots...
