I could be wrong but I don't think the mentor program works for bears. I believe they are not considered big game.

I have an archery tag. Its a Utah bear and my season ends May 31st. I may take the first legal bear I see for my first. It took four years to draw the tag.

Is this a decent bear? Iam a rookie at this bear hunting stuff. This is the first one to come to my bait.

Seems like I always get bad conditions on my days off but I still had a nice time and picked up a few. The snow fell yesterday and by this afternoon it was starting to burn off. After I pulled it out of the snow Had a nice time and will hit it again next week. Kevlar
