I am new to it to. As best as I can tell, as a NR that only wants a bonus point for a deer or a deer/elk I should wait until July 1st to apply for it? Is that right? Thank you

There isn't state legislator alive that will vote to raise his constituents hunting fees in order to lower the NR fees.

My wife and I will be in Benson in a couple weeks. Can anyone tell me any unadvertised spots where we may have a chance to view interesting wildlife. We'd really like to see a desert ram, but I am not sure if there are any in that area. Looking on the map I guess this area could include the land...

Use the cardboard boxes with styrofoam liners like used in shipping lobsters. If the meat is frozen, "two night" shipping works fine. Done that a few times including Maine to Oregon, and Maine to Nevada. No problem, and "two night" shipping will save over "one night".

Six years ago I shipped the butchered and vac packed meat from a bull moose. All the meat. Shipped for a hunting client that I guided here in Maine to his Denver area home. Two night shipping ...about $2,000.00 rings a bell with me. European mount of the bull was extra. Not sure what that cost...

I know non-residents that have spent in excess of $2,200.00 for extra chances on drawing a Maine tag. They were not drawn. Do not go that route. Over the last ten years I uhave repeatedly asked Maine F&W for the figures and success rates for NR's that purchase lots of chances....they have never...

My wife and I will be traveling in SW Colorado and NW New Mexico in early April. I no longer apply and will never be hunting Bighorn Sheep, but would love to see one. Is there any place this time of year where we might see a ram? Near road, or by hiking. Thanks very much
