Headed to Colorado unit 22 second season for deer . Seeing if its worth getting a bear tag. As we never hunted there before and not sure on the bear population there.. thanks for any advice..mike

Good news.. I was thinking about taking both weeks off but probably should just take the last week off so I won't get antsy and pull the trigger too early. This will be my first time in the area I've hunted around Rollins unit 61 for antelope so I'm guessing it's the same type of terrain?

I drew the 101 deer tag rifle last two weeks of October just seeing if anybody knew how the unit was doing since the bad winter and also wondering if it makes a difference between going on the first week or going on the second week thanks Mike

yea it should be. Im looking forward to it. Sounds like it might be one of the tougher hunts. But the reward could be huge. Im leaning towards taking the full two weeks off pulling the trailer dyi type ..so I not limit too 5 or 7 days with a guide. All though it would be nice to fly up yo save...
