Didn't get the elk tag I hoped for in the secondary draw, but did get an archery deer tag in the OTC unit I plan to elk hunt.

The spikes are not too far from cows. They normally trail a herd until chased off by the herd bull. Find cows and you’ll find a spike or two until peak rut.

My brother got Chesnimus archery elk, and gerber res archery antelope. Should be an interesting season for him.

My son got an X2 tag, which I am planning to help him with. My Bro and I got our fall back D3-5 tag. I might have to see what the PCT looks like in August with my Bow. The planning starts now.

Federal protections limit what the states can do. Takes a concerted effort to remove the feral horses and most folks don’t know a thing about how destructive they are to habitat.
