my gf is a navajo indian but no one in her family is familiar with the hunting so she is putting in for some tags just not sure what to expect

i was shooting them out of my 270 win 150Gr and my boy shot a spike that was just like this one it just stood there... it took two hits and finally he laid down and died no blood what so ever it wasnt until i quartered him to find the inside tore up Also another experience with my 300 ultra...

congrats!! for years i have been wanting to get out and spend some time looking just dont have an idea where to even start i have access to sleds rangers and not afraid to walk just dont have the money to go up blind with out some sort of idea where to go and the best ways to hunt them???
